The transport in Colombia and Mexico:
The Mexican rail system, which is nationalized, has 26.656 km of roads. The longitude of the highways is 349.038 km (2003), of which 34% is paved. Several freeways cross the country, among them four main routes that go from the frontier with United States until the capital of the Mexican Republic that are part of the net of the Pan-American highways. The air services have been developed in an intensive way and the country has more than 1.700 airports and landing hints. The main air companies are Aeroméxico and Mexicana de Aviacion. The merchant fleet of the country is composed by 718 ships, with a capacity of 1.099.800 registered gross tons.
El terreno irregular de Colombia obliga a que la construcción de carreteras y vías de tren sea muy costosa. Colombia cuenta con 3.154 km de vías férreas, nacionalizadas a partir de 1954 y actualmente en desuso, excepto para el transporte de mercancías. La mayor parte de estos ferrocarriles nacionales eran líneas que llegaban al río Magdalena, la principal arteria de transporte del país durante el siglo XIX y buena parte del siglo XX, pues era navegable a lo largo de casi 1.100 km a partir de su desembocadura. Las carreteras suman 112.988 km y comprenden una parte de la autopista que une Caracas, la capital venezolana, con Quito, la capital de Ecuador, a través de Bogotá y de otras poblaciones colombianas. En Colombia el transporte aéreo comenzó en 1919 y actualmente varias compañías nacionales e internacionales sirven al país. En 1946 Colombia, Venezuela y Ecuador acordaron establecer la Marina Mercante Gran Colombia, aunque Venezuela se retiró en 1953. Los principales puertos son Buenaventura, Tumaco, Santa Marta, Barranquilla y Cartagena.

The Educational System in Colmbia understands the formal education that is imparted in periods and it drives to the obtaining of academic degrees, and the non formal education that is imparted without subjection to periods of regulated sequence and it doesn't drive to any grade.
The formal education understands the following progressive levels:
- Education preescolar
- Basic education (primary and secondary)
- Half education
- Superior education
The education preescolar refers to children smaller than 6 years of age and it will be obligatory, minimum in one year (5 year-old age).

Education in Mexico is divided in the following levels: Basic education, middle education and high education and this have studies in preschool, elementary school, high school, vocational technical, baccalaureate, BA, normal and postgraduate while education in Colombia consists in: Preschool, elementary school, high school and then the young people start the university to become professionals.
The regulatory institution of education in Mexico is Secretariat of Public Education while in Colombia the regulatory institution of education is called Ministry of Education.
Usually in both countries children start the school at the age of 5 years old.

In Ciudad de Mexico the main system of transportation is the meter while in Bogotá is the “Transmilenio”. This is a fast and very efficient system of red and large buses that have routes and points where stop it.

transport of Mexico
In Mexico City operated four different types of taxis:
- The yellow and white taxis (usually branded Volkswagen), who have taximeter.
- Taxis orange ( "Site"), available at taxi ranks, a little more expensive than the yellow and white.
- Tourism-type taxis, which stop at the door of the big hotels and have no meter.
- Taxis "Peseros" (green and white), which shared vehicles are performing fixed routes. La tarifa dependerá del recorrido realizado. The fare will depend on the route done.
Bus
City buses
In Mexico City there is a vast network of buses and trolleybuses. Trolleybuses have recently been modernized and are flat rates. In Guadalajara there is a system of state buses and trolleybuses, and there are also private bus services.
Long distance buses
This is the most common means of transport in Mexico. The vehicles for long journeys are comfortable and modern. Sin embargo, los buses rurales suelen estar en bastante mal estado. However, rural buses are usually in pretty bad shape.

Comparison between the education in EEUU and Colombia
the study in EEUU is one the best of the world in this state there are three types of school there are schools publics, privates and home school, the mos the people study in the public school because is very good. also in this country you can find the best universities of the world for example: Harvard, Stanford etc in the harvard university there are many faculties how: law, medicine, arts, (business that is very famous in the world), besides also there is Technical careers, how: program in Engineering,Infirmary(Nursing) etc many people studie in this careers.
While that in Colombia there are two types of school : public and private, in Colombia is best the private school while in EEUU the puclic school is one of the better in Colombia also there are univesties very good for example: the nacional universitie and many more, these countries have something in common is the technical careers the most of people in Colombia sudie in this careers.

The transport in España is one of the more important of the world, because is very efficient and arranged. in this place there is much space for travel of one place to other, the principal way of transport is the "METRO" is the principal and the best of the this state this way of transport is faster than the cars and travel to speed of 300 km Approximately. besides of metro there is cars for the transport. in España there are six principal roads, each one have eigth rails. in the cars travel the most the people.

The highway in Mexico is one of the most extensive in Latin America. The roads in México are divided in federal (constructed by Ministry of Communications and Transport), and the state roads that are built by the government. Both roads have four lanes and are free.
In the urban public transport Mexico has four subway lines. In addition Mexico has trolley buses, buses and minibuses that regularly move. This transport you can be made several trips and connections to the same ticket especially between the “metro” and trolley bus.
The “metro” is the better mean of transport in the city. That is modern and very efficient. The “metro” circulates mainly by the tourist places.
The trolley buses have a very good service though do not cover many routes but, with the same ticket you can travel in the “metro” and in the minibuses.
The minibuses are called trucks too. Those are in throughout the city with signs that indicate the place of fate.

Comparison betwenn la madremonte and la patasola.
The people note that the madremonte is women from Colombia, she lives in the forest, the phisycal appearence is: she has long hair, dark face and blue eyes, her clothing style is very strange because she usually use clothing elegant besides use many leaves greens for all body and dont have shoes,the seasons in this place is hot, the people also note that the madremonte is very dangerous,there is many people that listen screams in the forest,besides the madremonte lives away of all the people and live with dangerous animals.
in comparison with the patasola, the patasola live in the jungle and the patasola is a women very beautiful where as the madremonte is ugly, she has long hair, blue eyes and is taller than the madremonte.she use clothing very casual how:short, jeans and shoes for search her victims, when she find her victims she become a women very ugly while the madremonte never change her phisycal appearence, after that the patasola search her victims she attack.

Mexico-A country to be known:
Mexico is a city located in centre America. It is bordered on the north with the United States, and in the south with Guatemala. It is integrated by 32 states, which is different in contrast with Colombia because we have departments. This country is popular because of its weather and because of its beaches. The most popular touristic places are Acapulco, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara, Mexico City, and others. Some other things are that this country is very good at movies, communications, and food.
The food is very popular because Mexican people put a lot of spicy and it is very delicious. The music is very good as well, they like the Rancheras and very important musicians are Antonio Aguilar and the king of the Rancheras Vicente Fernandez. Its culture and history is very interesting because in Mexico there where different civilizations, very important for the archaeology and world history (Mayas and Aztecs). Finally I recommend you all to visit the pyramids and the beaches. The Mexican people are very nice and polite, like in every Latin culture.

COMPARISON BETWEEN COLOMBIA AND MEXICO
México and Colombia are countries located in América.
México is a Federal Republic while Colombia is divided in departments.
In its geographic location México limits at north with USA, at south with Guatemala and Bélice, at east with the Atlantic Ocean and at west with the Pacific Ocean.
Colombia limits at north with Panamá and the Atlantic Ocean, at south with Brazil, Perú and Ecuador, at east with Venezuela and part of Brazil and at west with the Pacific Ocean.
In both countries the official language is the Spanish.
The weather in Colombia is warm while the weather in México is in part weather of tropic and other part is warm. Both countries have many kinds of temperatures according to the region.
The main Mexican river is El Bravo and Colombian main rivers are El Magdalena and El Amazonas.
In Colombia the culture is varied too as consequence of insulation geographic. The representative dances of Colombia are the “Bambuco”, the “Cumbia” and the “Guabina” and others. In Mexico the repretive dances are the “Jarabe Tapatío” and the “Tabasco”. A sample of the Mexican music is El Mariachi known by almost everybody. The musical influence of Colombia comes from África, Spain and Americans natives while in Mexico the musical influence comes from Spain principally.

Juan Diego Pérez: Differences between Acapulco and Barranquilla
Acapulco : is a city of mexico located in estate of Guerrero, is a of the principal places tourist of world.
In Acapulco there are beautiful beaches and many buildings(seventy five ).
The climate in Acapulco is very nice is sunny and with much windy but some days rainny,you in Acapulco can go to the diferents places of this city for example: isla de la roqueta,la quebrada,pie de la cuesta.
The tipical food of Acapulco is:camarones,pulpo en su tinta,ceviche etc and tipical drinks :tuba,tepache,chilate and waters prepared with fruit of this place.
Besides in Acapulco you can walk for the beach and look the sunrise (this is beautiful) also the people practice many sports: baseball,soccer, tennis.
Barranquilla: is the capital of deparment of atlantico(Colombia) is located in the north of country in the cost of caribe.
The climate in Barranquilla is sunny and aslo is dry, in Barranquilla there are many flats and some buildings,the flats of this place are small but very beautiful.
The principal event is “CARNAVAL DE BARRANQUILLA” is the party more big of Barranquilla and important of this place ,besides many people of diferents parts of world going to this event.
The tipical food of Barranquilla is :pescado,arroz con coco and eat of sea.

The México is a big city , its a capital of Mexico ,it´s the political and economic center of the country and it is a big metropilis , the weather sometimes is cold and humed with rainnig and sometimes is warm . when is cold time is between May and November the peolpe in this season usually use gloves , boots , umbrellas, scarves , jeans ,and coats while that in warm the people Frequently wear T-shirts, large size pants , jeans and glasses. The peolple from mexico likes to eat spicy food for example taquitos, burritos , frijoles , they rarely eat vegetables . the activites of the people from mexico is walk, watch movies, go to parks .

My name is Aura Velasco García. I'm in first semester of Medicine at the Universidad de la Sabana and I'm 18 years old. Before to study Medicine, I was study Chemistry at the Universidad Nacional. After, last vacations I was in Manzanares, a little town in Caldas.
I'm from Bogotá and I live in Chia with my family, my little brother, Alejandro, and my parents, Hildebrando and Cristina. I have other brother but he doesn't live with me, he lives in Bogotá, his name is Juan Carlos. Alejandro is in sixth grade and he is 12 years old.
