Roberto Gómez Bolaños was born on February 21st, 1929 in Ciudad de Mexico. He is publicist, drawer, poet, film writer, producer, director and actor. He studied engineering but he never worked in this profession. He started to working as a creative when he was 22 years old. His first work as a librettist in “Cómicos y Canciones” enriched his future works.
“Chespirito” nickname that gave him the film director Agustín P. Delgado (he believing a little Shakespeare) is famous because of his funny program “El Chavo del Ocho” that still today is very important into film world.
Other important producer of Colombian origin is Dago García. He is writer of librettos of different topics while “Chespirito” is a comic writer. Roberto Gómez is older than Dago García.
Physically Dago García is taller than Roberto Gómez. Both have dark brown skin, dark brown eyes and short wavy and dark hair.
